Funday School

Our children join the adults in the sanctuary from 10:15 - 10:30am to listen to the music. They will then be led to Funday school for a lively session with trained facilitators; joining us again in the sanctuary for sharing and the closing song.

CHILD CARE:

We now have 2 wonderful caregivers in our daycare. Courtney and Madison
are available to take care of children from 9:40 AM each Sunday. You can now
participate in the meditation as well as the service while Courtney and Madison engage
the children in fun activities.

March 14 - Raising the Inner Child
We all have one. A child inside who either kicks and screams or hides in a corner. This kid needs a real grownup to teach it how to play nice and to have fun being mature!

The number of “shoulds” and “have tos” sprinkled throughout our conversation is a clue to how much mastery we have over our own destiny.

March 28 - The I of Me is the I of You
“We are one” is an understatement! There is only one of us anywhere and nothing “out there” but perception. This is one of those paradoxes we learn to live with but which can also free us from anxiety and depressive thoughts.

Living Consciously
The use of electricity is commonplace to us. We know that we can use it in specific ways to produce desirable results. We also know that if used improperly the power can harm us or will have no effect whatsoever. For example, I can cool down a small space with an electric fan but I would never expect it to light the room. My electric oven bakes a cake but cannot run the television. Each use is necessarily specific to the desired result.
