Ten core concepts of Science of mind     Carol Carnes

  1. God Consciousness makes everything out of itself by becoming the thing it makes (and so do we)
  2. God Consciousness has no opposition.  It is the only power there is and never struggles to be fully revealed..
  3. God is also known as Spirit/Mind which is formless Love and Intelligence, a field of infinite potentiality.
  4. We are spiritual beings made in the image and likeness of God Consciousness, living in a spiritual universe, governed by spiritual laws.
  5. Love is the cohesive force which brings together that which belongs together and maintains it in harmony and balance. It does this Intelligently from the Cosmic to the Atomic levels of life.
  6. All visible life is arising moment by moment out of the invisible field of Love and Intelligence and draws its consciousness from that spiritual level.
  7. We are co-creators with God consciousness. Intelligence responds to Intelligence, Love responds to Love, Peace to Peace, Joy to Joy, in a reciprocal manner.
  8. Our minds are the outlet for the full expression of God Consciousness, yet we are left to discover that for ourselves and must choose to use our inherent powers.
  9. To learn how to use our Spirit/Mind is to learn how to live and to heal our own experience.
  10.  The only reality is wholeness. All that appears to be less than whole is a narrow version of the real thing. IE. Abundance is the Wholeness, poverty and wealth are variations of it, a local awareness of possibility. Awareness is expandable.
Overall tenet:  There is a Universal Power for Good, available to all and we use it through thought, word and deed.

Nothing changes until Mind changes and nothing changes but Mind. (Buddhist correlation)
It is done unto you as you believe.  (Christian correlation)

Living Consciously January 2, 2009
There is a strip of coastline in Southern California that is eroding rather quickly. Portions of the cliffs pull away and fall down to the beach some forty feet below. The odd thing is that people keep building large, expensive homes on those lots. Sometimes they even plant foliage that is known to hold onto water, making the soil even more compromised. More

Everyone wants to be happier this year, healthier and perhaps more prosperous. Why don’t we add to that list a desire to be more effective in helping the disadvantaged people of the world? Even small acts of support can make a big difference in our personal sense of well being, not to mention what we can do for others. Nothing will change until those of us who are so richly blessed step up and act on behalf of our fellow earthlings. More
